At G & H Technical Services, EPA PAH 16 (Tar) testing is based on an asphalt matrix for arisings from highways investigations using a rigorous process following EA validation guidance.
A combination of UKAS accredited services, which comprise PAK marker PAH screening, speciated analysis of benzo(a)pyrene and total PAH, and statistical analysis for assessment of hazard from road tar in arisings from bituminous bound road materials enable us to provide round the clock information on materials handling. Our process follows the ADEPT and Construction Demolition Waste Forum Guidance.
Our reports give Clients the confidence to make an informed decision that the arisings can be utilised in either asphalt or hydraulically bound materials.
Solely developed in house by our own technical department, the UKAS accredited PAH (tar) asphalt matrix test method was designed to provide a reliable and quick turnaround of results.
